(Reason for December graduation - I did not match into an orthopaedic residency directly out of medical school, so I took a 1-year internship. • Four trimesters in Doctor of Chiropractic program
(Although I discovered quickly that I did not align with the chiropractic philosophy, I was fortunate to have an anatomy professor who was a retired surgeon. I took a work study job with him, and quickly fell in love with anatomy, dissection, and surgery. I knew then that I needed to go to medical school. I dropped out of chiropractic school and took the MCAT 13 days later. The rest is history. No education or experience is wasted, and I am fortunate to have discovered my career passion during this time.)
